See Saw
A see saw is a popular yard piece for anyone with a child. A home with a see saw in the yard gives off an aura of fun and excitement. A see saw can be small with not a lot of frills or it can be large enough to fit two or three people on each end. No matter how large or small the see saw may be, people of all ages are sure to find them to be great places to take a load off your feet and have a great time. A see saw can add a classic playground look to your yard and home. Your new see saw will be sure to become a favorite of all the kids in your neighborhood. It will have you yelling out to neighbors, “come ride my see saw!”
Once you decide on adding a teeter totter to your yard, the type of see saw you want to buy and where you will place your see saw are big decisions. There are a number of types of see saws to choose from such as Hedstrom teeter totters and extendable see saws by Feber. An extendable see saw will extend to allow more riders. You may want to consult the entire family when making this decision since a see saw is something everyone may want to use and enjoy. Some people opt to purchase a pre-built teeter totter or see saw. However, for other people, building a see saw for their family by hand is a task they choose to undertake. Teeter totter plans can be found on a number of websites that specialize in playground equipment such as teeter totters. Building your own teeter totter can be a very rewarding project and can be something that the entire family can participate in together. Some see saw designs, like agility teeter totter plans, may be more intricate than some other see saw designs. Depending on how difficult the teeter totter you choose is, putting together an average see saw is not all that hard.
Once you have installed your teeter totter your children will be thrilled. They will spend hours outside on their new see saw, enjoying it to the most. You may want to enroll them in the Scholastic See Saw Book Club to give them another favorite past time for when they have finished on their teeter totter – reading.
